Altar Server Appreciation Event
We are excited for this years Altar Server Appreciation Event! We will gather at St. Paul Catholic Church in Tampa for a day of prayer, food, and fun. We have a lot of great things planned and cannot wait to celebrate with all of you and your altar servers.
Details about the event:
What: This event is hosted by the Office of Vocations. Did you know that about 80% of priests were altar servers? We want to thank the altar servers of the diocese while also bringing to mind that the Lord could be calling them to a vocation to the priesthood or religious life.
When: We will begin promptly at 10:00am on May 16th, 2026 in the church for morning prayer and the recognition of the Altar Servers of the Year.
Where: St. Paul Catholic Church in Tampa. We will be using their parish hall for food and a beautiful space outside for activities and games.
Who: This event and the certificates awarded are for youth up to senior year in high school. We also invite their parents and siblings, altar server coordinators, and parish priests and deacons. Altar Server Coordinators, please use the form below to register your group for the event. If you need to update any part of the form after you have submitted it, please email jp@dosp.org with your updates.
The form below is in two parts: first is for your server certificates and the second is for the RSVP for the event.
